To make loose leaf herbal tea start by boiling spring or filtered water. Once the water reaches a boil or 212°, pour it into a teapot or a heatproof container. Add one tablespoon of loose leaf herbal tea per cup of water into a tea infuser or directly into the teapot. Set an audible time (so important) and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes. Herbal teas may take different steep times depending on ingredients so be sure to read the package for instructions. After steeping, remove the tea leaves or infuser and pour the tea into cups. You can enjoy it as is or add milk, sugar, or lemon according to your taste.
