Here are some general guidelines for steeping different types of tea:
  1. Black Tea: Bring water to a rolling boil, and pour it over the loose leaf tea in a teapot or mug. Steep for 3-5 minutes.  Strain out the leaves before serving.
  2. Green Tea: Heat water to 175°F-180°F and pour it over the loose leaf tea.  Steep for 3 minutes. Strain out the leaves before serving.
  3. White Tea: Heat water to 175°F and pour it over the loose leaf tea. Steep for 3 minutes. Strain out the leaves before serving.
  4. Oolong Tea: Heat water to 195°F and pour it over the loose leaf tea. Steep for 3-5 minutes.  Strain out the leaves before serving.
  5. Herbal Tea: Bring water to a rolling boil, and pour it over the herbal tea blend.  Steep for 5-7 minutes, or until the desired strength is reached. Strain out the leaves before serving.
Remember that these are general guidelines, and you may need to adjust the steeping time and temperature depending on the specific type of tea and your personal taste preferences. Enjoy your cup of tea!
